NOLI DE CASTRO AS ABS-CBN PRESIDENT?
According to STIR (Showbiz Talk Intriguing Reports) ABS-CBN Chairman and CEO Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III is retiring on 2013 when he turns 60 and planning to enter in the airline business. He is planning to buy off Philippine Airlines from Lucio Tan.
Since Ms Charo Santos - Concio did an impressive job by overturning ABS-CBN’s TV ratings and finally defeating GMA in Urban Luzon and Mega Manila, she will ascend as ABS-CBN Chairman and CEO.
Philippine Vice President Noli De Castro recently announced that he has no longer political plans for next year and wished to return to broadcasting. He will return to TV Patrol World, television’s longest running news program when he leaves Malacanang on 2010. On 2013 he will eventually be ABS-CBN President.
Interesting turn of events, isn’t it? Let’s wait and see…
